Left 4 Dead Wiki 的介紹：
The Passing is an upcoming DLC for Left 4 Dead 2 which includes a new campaign and "a new co-operative challenge mode of play." The new gamemode is called either "Hot" or "Feature Hot", and no other information about it is available as of now. It introduces the new firearm the M60, the Golf Club and also the new Uncommon Infected called the Fallen Survivor. The Passing will take place between Dead Center and Dark Carnival, in a rural town in Georgia. It will also feature a meet-up between the Left 4 Dead 2 Survivors and the original Survivors, however, they will not be playable. The original Survivors will appear in the campaign's first chapter, meeting with the new Survivors, then again later in the third chapter helping Coach, Nick, Rochelle, and Ellis escape. The campaign will be playable in all the game modes, including the soon-to-be released one. Valve hasn't announced pricing details yet, but the release date is stated for late March for both the PC and Xbox 360 versions.

Items released in The Passing (The Passing 釋出的項目)

The Fallen Survivor is the new Uncommon Common Infected. Apparently a Survivor who was well-prepared but eventually became Infected, it is armed with guns, ammunition, and health. Similar to the Screamer's AI, Fallen Survivors will run away as soon as they see a Survivor. However when killed, certain usable items will be dropped and become obtainable.
The M60 machine gun.
The Golf Club.
A new Co-operative game mode.
A new Midnight Riders song.
A new Bride Model for the Witch.
New Achievements.
New Common Infected Models: Midnight Riders fans & wedding guests.

In "The Passing," players will meet up with the original Left 4 Dead'ssurvivors, Francis, Bill, Zoey and Louis, who will appear asnon-playable characters. Valve's Chet Faliszek told Kotaku that Left 4Dead 2's survivors will rendezvous with the original quartet later onin the campaign, and that they will aid Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochellein finishing the third map in the campaign.

而且要玩到後期幾關,先見到佢地

等國內手神被解短暫之時（The Passing）個關
（此為尚未公開的戰役，是Left 4 Dead 2 上市後所開發的官方新戰役，推測是死亡都心前後的一個戰役。）
故事講述四人在經過一個名為喬治亞的小城鎮上偶然遇見正趕去美國南部尋找救援的前一代倖存者(比爾,路易斯,若依,法蘭西斯)，於是八人就合作逃離這個小鎮。
